It has been a super busy start of the 2017 year for our web design team and for many of our clients. We announced the addition of Lighthouse Painting to the Surf Your Name family a few weeks back. After a fast web development schedule, we have launched the brand new LighthousePainting.net website.
Lighthouse Painting is a residential and commercial painting company with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Their office is in Newburyport, Massachusetts but they cover a wide area from Eastern Massachusetts, throughout the North Shore, Merrimack Valley, and Metro-West Boston; and Southern New Hampshire, from Nashua to the Seacoast.
This project was fun on several different levels. Our team worked directly with Nick, one of the founders, on this project and it was always a treat to listen to his “Boston Accent” which was very thick when he got excited talking about his business. Unlike many painters and contractors that view their work as a job, I was always able to hear the passion in Nick’s voice (and accent) when he talked about the business and the quality of work their customers have come to know.
The other part of this project that interjected some challenge was their fully responsive online appointment booking system. The online appointment booking system is perfectly suited for their growing business and has a solid foundation that will serve them for years to come. The system will allow their customers to book an appointment, then the system will send Nick an email alerting him and his team to the new appointment, and confirmation emails are sent to the client. Our programmers were also able to setup email reminders that are sent out to Nick’s customers so they do not forget their appointment.
The Lighthouse Painting team can login to the back-end of the appointment system to fully manage the company’s appointments, make changes to the schedule, and modify how many appointment slots are available at any given time.
Our team was tasked with a one month production timeline to get us from concept to launch. While this was a tight deadline with so many moving parts in the website, we were able to stay on track and launch on schedule. Nick and his team have been great clients and are now staying on-board with SurfYourName for SEO services, PPC Ad Campaign Management, and our proven Email Marketing skills. This is not the last time you will be hearing about Nick and Lighthouse Painting!
