We’ve worked with Sandra from Nashville First in the past, and we even built a brand-new website to showcase her husbands work as a musical conductor. So, Sandra knew that we could help her when it came to finding a program that could handle her church’s announcement display slideshow. The slideshow is cast to various televisions throughout the lobby of the church. They had a previous set up, using an image only slider – but needed a revamp so that the announcements could play sound and video.
Our team researched a variety of options that would remedy the issues Sandra was having; pre-made computer software like PowerPoint wouldn’t work because the slider was located on their website and cast to multiple different televisions. Custom coding only solved a couple of the problems, but ultimately left more questions than answers. Finally, we were able to find a program that was housed in their website AND allowed Sandra to upload both photos and videos that would play automatically and could be cast from their computer to all the TVs in the lobby.
Their new announcement slider has been live for a few weeks now, and Sandra is constantly getting compliments from the church’s members on the quality and novelty of having videos included in the slide show.
